I have accomplished a lot by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and MBA,
especially considering the challenges l have faced. Balancing financial issues, work,
and family responsibilities while pursuing higher education is no small feat. As l have
continued my journey toward becoming a professional accountant, here are a few
strategies l used:Practical Experience;Gaining practical experience through internships
and work in accounting and auditing firms,this has helped me build up skills and
understanding of real-world applications.Continuing Education: The field of accounting
is constantly evolving, with changes in regulations and standards. Staying updated
through continuous learning and professional development.Networking: Building a
network within the industry has provided support, mentorship, and job opportunities
to my life. Joining professional organisations and attending industry events.Balancing
Work and Life: Given the challenges i’ve faced, maintaining a healthy work-life
balance as well. Finding time for myself and my loved ones has also helped me to
sustain my long-term career growth and personal well-being.
